Assignment 2
Here are my pictures for Assignment 2. The first four deal with aperture, and the last four focus on shutter speed. I tried to get some variety in my shots, but it was more difficult than anticipated for the photos that focused on shutter speed. I went out and tried to get shots with a fast shutter speed, but I didn't like how they turned out half as much as the ones I've selected to share with you all. Overall I loved this project and am very proud of the pictures I was able to get. I also learned and became more familiar with my camera and the way it works.
Looking back over my final images, I can see some flaws in the composition of my shots. The third photo, for example, had a small aperture so that the foreground would be the only area in focus. But the focus on the grass in front is not as sharp as it should be. The second to last shot has a lot of grain, which I had a hard time fixing in the editing process. I am happy with the creative aspect of my photos but I know that I need to work on getting the more minor details right as well.
My two favorites are the first shot and the last one. Which do you guys like best?

I like how you manipulated the faces of your friends to be blurred. It makes the photo feel fast paced as if there were quick jittering movements.
